Golden Arrows midfielder Isaac Cissé has departed South Africa to complete his move to Belgian Pro League side Royal Charleroi SC.
The 19-year-old Ivorian enjoyed an impressive debut season in South African football, scoring five goals in 26 appearances for Abafana Bes’thende during the 2025/26 campaign.
Cissé arrived at Golden Arrows as a relatively unknown prospect but quickly established himself as one of the club’s standout young players. His performances in midfield attracted interest from several clubs before the European move materialised.
Cissé Set for European Move
The highly-rated midfielder has now left South Africa as he prepares to finalise his transfer to Royal Charleroi.
The move brings an end to Cissé’s solitary season in the PSL and gives the teenager an opportunity to continue his development in Belgium’s top flight.
Cissé’s combination of physical presence, composure and ability to contribute goals from midfield made him an important player for Golden Arrows. Despite his young age, he featured regularly throughout the campaign and finished with an impressive return of five goals from 26 matches.
