Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly finalising loan moves for Samkelo Zwane, Naledi Hlongwane and Bontle Molefe, with the trio set to join newly-promoted Motsepe Foundation Championship side Hope FC.
The three Amakhosi players are expected to head to Cape Town for the season as Chiefs look to secure them regular first-team football and valuable senior experience.
Zwane Set for Another Loan Spell
Zwane is among the more experienced players in the trio, but the 24-year-old midfielder has struggled to establish himself as a regular in the Kaizer Chiefs senior team.
He previously spent time on loan at Siwelele FC and is now set for another temporary move as he searches for consistent minutes.
A season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship could provide the midfielder with the opportunity to play regularly and continue his development away from Naturena.
Hlongwane Gets Senior Opportunity
Hlongwane is also expected to make the switch after impressing through the Chiefs development structures.
The striker caught the attention of first-team selectors following his performances in the DStv Diski Challenge and Carling Cup.
Rather than remaining on the fringes of the senior squad, a loan to Hope FC would give Hlongwane the opportunity to test himself consistently at senior level.
Molefe Looking for Regular Game Time
Goalkeeper Bontle Molefe completes the trio expected to make the move to Cape Town.
The 23-year-old has previously spent time away from Chiefs on loan at Leicesterford City and will again look to gain valuable competitive minutes.
With competition for the goalkeeping position at Naturena, another loan provides Molefe with an opportunity to continue accumulating senior experience.
Chiefs Continue Loan Strategy
The proposed moves would see three more Chiefs players leave Naturena temporarily in search of regular football.
For newly-promoted Hope FC, the agreement would provide the Championship side with three players from the Amakhosi setup as they prepare for their campaign in the second tier.
The deals are still being finalised, with Zwane, Hlongwane and Molefe expected to spend the season in Cape Town if all remaining formalities are completed.
